(More customer reviews)I have all of Chris Epting's books on famous places. He just seems to think the way that I think, that history can be found anywhere. Epting has several books showing the reader where famous places in popular culture history can be found. Epting's books take us to famous baseball sites, famous sites in music history and general pop history sites. He shows us where the ruby slippers from the Wizard of Oz can be found, where Babe Ruth was born and where James Dean died. In this book, Epting shows us where people and things were born. Included in this book are the birthplaces of Jimmy Stewart, Amelia Earhart, Brad Pitt and our presidents along with where Uncle Sam, Microsoft, boysenberry, Memorial Day, Lobster Newburgh and Dunkin Donuts were first created. You will not be able to put down this book! I would also suggest the following title from Chris Epting: Roadside Baseball; Led Zeppelin Crashed Here; The Ruby Slippers, Madonna's Bra and Einstein's Brain; James Dean Died Here; Marilyn Monroe Dyed Here and Elvis Presley Passed Here.
